Course information and requirements
Students enrolling in this course must be qualified or experienced automotive technicians or apprentices.
Course fees include basic materials required throughout your course.
Assessments are part of your training, designed to confirm that you have gained the necessary skills and knowledge to meet workplace standards and course requirements. You may be assessed through various methods such as; completing workplace documentation, on-the-job or simulated environment observations, quizzes, written or practical tests, verbal questioning, and written assignments.
For classes, bring standard supplies including pens, notebooks or paper.
Additionally, equipment and or personal protective equipment may be required as advised by your trainer.
Essential items for this course include protective work clothing with approved safety boots, safety glasses, face shields and gloves.
(shields and gloves will be supplied by us.)
Students must obtain a TL000 Trainee Refrigeration Air Conditioning Licence before attending the course to comply with licensing and regulatory requirements. Please visit ARCtick for more information on Trainee Licenses.
On successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the completed units, AURETU103 Service air conditioning and HVAC systems and AURETU104 Diagnose and repair air conditioning and HVAC components.
